Have you always wanted to make an impact on a youth's life? We are looking for individuals to do one-on-one mentorship for youth in our various service areas.
In order to be slated for a match, potential mentors will need to complete the following:
- Mentorship packet
- This includes forms that will allow us to run an ICHAT background check, National and Michigan Sex Offenders List Check, and a Child Protective Services history check.
- 3 recommendations (personal or professional)
- TB Test
- Driving Record (if you are driving the client)
We are asking that mentors plan to spend 4 hours per month and to make a 12 month committment to being a mentor, along with cultivating a supportive and appropriate relationship with the mentee. Additionally, this mentorship position asks that you check in weekly with a supervising staff member.
