Every year, Child and Family Charities facilitates nearly 100 moves across five different housing programs and our in-kind donation program. That’s a lot of bags, boxes, and pieces of furniture to help move, and we need your help! By signing up to be a volunteer mover, we’ll put you on a list to alert you when we will need assistance with a move, be it a client or a donation.
General Timeframe
In general, the moves will be during business hours.
Requirements
Volunteer application with all associated waivers
ICHAT Background Check
Sex Offendors History check
CPS History Check
Some moves will also require 3 recommendations.
Because of the occasionally sensitive information, movers will also be required to go through a confidentiality training prior to their first move.
