Help prepare hot meals for kids enrolled in the Summer Enrichment and/or After-Hours Enrichment Program at Lansing School District. This opportunity involves cooking from scratch and cleaning up afterward. Volunteers must have knowledge of preparing vegetables and fruits, reading recipes and cooking / baking. This is a time sensitive activity, and must be completed within the allotted time, thus cooking knowledge is a must. These meals will be served to kids going without dinner. We do not serve the meals to the kids nor are they on site at Cristo Rey.
