Volunteer to help tutor kids who are reading below their grade level!
This volunteer opportunity is twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Volunteers need to be able to make it to both sessions. Tutors are asked to arrive to the site at 3:45pm and can expect to leave around 5:15pm or earlier.
Volunteers are paired one-on-one with a struggling elementary school student and meet twice a week to work on reading, writing, and other literacy-based activities. You do not need any background in tutoring or teaching- training will be provided before sessions begin.
