As Michigan’s capitol, Lansing is home to a diverse citizenry that is ready to reinvest their time and resources to volunteering in their local neighborhoods, service agencies, and other public spaces.

Through the Serve Lansing citywide service plan, the city of Lansing facilitates volunteer projects in three priority areas:

1. Increasing Civic Engagement
2. Snow/Grass/Leaves/Trash (the basics of neighborhood quality of life)
3. Neighborhood Strength and Resilience.
