Who We Are
Mission: To provide 24-hour per day compassionate, physical care for terminally ill persons in a residential setting, complemented by emotional and spiritual support for the patient and their loved ones, enabling death with dignity.
Eaton Community Palliative Care helps provide diverse services to patients and their families in our community who are living with a terminal illness. To help cover the cost of operating our palliative care residences, we have opened two Thrift Shops.
What We Do
We provide:
- In-home Hospice Care: Eaton Community Palliative Care delivers medical care, emotional support, and pain management in patients’ homes, ensuring comfort during their last days.
- Residential Care: The organization operates a small residential hospice facility where patients can receive round-the-clock care if staying at home is not feasible.
- Grief and Bereavement Support: They offer counseling and support services for families dealing with the loss of a loved one.
- Volunteering Opportunities: Volunteers play a vital role in providing companionship to patients, assisting with day-to-day tasks, and offering administrative support.
Eaton Community Palliative Care services are provided at little or no cost, supported by donations and community contributions. Their work emphasizes dignity and comfort for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses.
