Care Free Medical

Mission: To provide care in Lansing to those who would otherwise go without.

Care Free Medical provides quality and compassionate medical, dental, optometry, and behavioral health care to people with limited access to the healthcare system. We have provided over 70,000 visits to the uninsured or under-insured in our community. We have done this with dedicated staff, volunteers, and generous supporters.

We provide comprehensive medical care to underserved and uninsured individuals in the community. Their services include primary care, dental care, vision services, mental health care, and specialized care. They focus on ensuring access to healthcare for those who are unable to afford it or lack health insurance, offering a sliding fee scale based on income.

The organization also plays a role in training medical professionals and works with local universities to provide learning opportunities for medical students, nurses, and other healthcare workers.

Care Free Medical relies on donations and grants to continue its mission of providing affordable, quality healthcare to vulnerable populations.
