Helping Women Period

Mission: To help ensure that all menstruators have the products they need, when they need them. Supplying shelters and other places with menstrual hygiene items.

Helping Women Period, established as a nonprofit in 2015, has distributed over 7 million menstrual products in Michigan. We work with over 300 charity partners in over 25 counties: Food banks, domestic violence shelters, schools, etc.

We provide free menstrual products to those experiencing homelessness and low income disparity. We also provide education and advocacy re: period equity.
