Volunteer: Volunteer DriverThe Volunteer Driver supports Ingham County MDHHS clients by providing transportation so they can get to medical appointments, locally and outside of the county. The Volunteer Driver can also transport children in foster care to visitations with family members. Mileage, meals, and other travel related expenses will be reimbursed at the current state rate. Qualifications Willingness to support the Red Cross mission MUST HAVE REGULAR OPEN WEEKDAY AVAILABILITY Ability to meet and greet a variety of people in a friendly, courteous manner Ability to communicate and interact with donors, paid and volunteer staff team members Ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional manner Must be at least 16 years-old (or 14 with parent supervision)Training Provided Orientation to the American Red Cross Blood Services orientation and skills training Ongoing training to update informationOne 6 hour shift every month.
