June 21st is the longest day of the year and Capital Area United Way is joining United Ways across the nation to spread good will by engaging with volunteers for its annual Day of Action.
This year, Capital Area United Way is holding a diaper and wipes drive to address the need for these essential items by the most vulnerable residents in our community. Volunteers are needed on June 20th to accept and (time permitting) sort donations which will be dropped off at the Lansing Center.
Volunteers are needed June 21 at the Lansing Center to sort through diaper donations by size and prepare them to be delivered to community nonprofits.
