The annual National Letter Carriers' Food Drive is Saturday, May 13, 2017. Residents in the greater Lansing area will be putting non-perishable food out by their mailbox for pickup by a mail carrier or an event volunteer driver. Volunteer drivers working out of the USPS Collins Road collection site will be assigned 'pick-up routes' throughout the 48912, 48915, 48933 zip codes.
At the collection site, volunteers will sort food and package for transport to the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
