Volunteer: Program FacilitatorsPrograms are provided to student members at no additional charge in one of our 6 Program Pillars: Life Skills, Creative Arts, Education, Community, Healthy Living, and Personal Development. We're looking for facilitators who have an activity or skill that can be taught to and experienced by our teens. Since students are engaging with us mostly after school, we do not want to add to their academically demanding day. Our programs must offer a hands-on and interactive experience for students that may challenge them, but are also holistically encouraging by refreshing their mind, body and soul Your role as a facilitator is vitally important to our student membership experience and our b21 staff. We believe your program will incite a new curiosity while also building healthy relationships between you and the students you serve. Thank you for investing in the next generation by using your experience, skills and knowledge in practical ways. We are willing to work around your schedule! This is a hangout night which includes food, games, art activities, Ninja Warrior gym and more! Each month will have its own unique theme. Students can choose to participate in activities – or simply sit, watch, and make new friends! We provide caring adults to oversee the night and hangout with students, ensuring a meaningful and safe experience for all attendees. We have video games, board games, computer games, arcade games, an art room, and more! We need caring adults to invest in youth and help ensure their safety and well-being. We also hope you connect with the students and play games with them, have conversations, etc. Our students are mostly from Holt, South Lansing, and Mason and they are incredible! We believe the more volunteers we have, the better we can transform a community. We are open Monday's, Tuesday's, and Thursday's from 2:30pm-6:00pm. If interested, we would love to work around the times and days that work best for you!
