The 2016 Capital Area United Way Volunteer Management Training Series (VMTS) is designed to help both veteran and new volunteer coordinators organize, implement and evaluate their volunteer programs. The Series will include Points of Light curriculum materials and interactive exercises, as well as opportunities to network. Jennifer Weichel, a dynamic volunteer specialist, from MSU extension is the scheduled instructor for the entire training.
The Series will consist of five two and a half hour Tuesday training sessions starting in July. We encourage you to register now to take advantage of the early bird rate which expires on June 16th. The early bird rate is $20 per session or $80 for the entire series for Early Bird registration. After June 16th, the rate is $25 per session or $100 for the entire series. Enrollment is limited to 40 participants per session. Registration will be handled on a first-come first-serve basis.
