Who We Are
Mission: To overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives
Established in 1948, the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan is a group of dedicated staff members and volunteers working to improve the lives of people with epilepsy and those who care for them. As an affiliate of the national office of the Epilepsy Foundation, we are responsible for the entire state of Michigan.
What We Do
Our programs and services empower people with epilepsy to live productive lives by providing information and guidance on epilepsy self-management and promoting awareness of the condition among professionals and the public.
The Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan strives to do more with less. Our ever-growing base of volunteers and collaborative partners makes this possible. Camp counselors, conference presenters, event volunteers, clerical volunteers, donors, Professional Advisory Committee members, Board members, and countless others support our staff in achieving the Foundation’s mission.
