Mission: To connect people to nature in the heart of Lansing through conservation, education, and stewardship
Fenner Conservancy – a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and managing body for Fenner Nature Center – connects people to nature in the heart of Lansing through conservation, education and stewardship. Through the efforts of this organization, Fenner Nature Center continues to serve as a place of connection for our community and a resource for environmental education regionwide.
Our vision is to be recognized as a regional asset and trusted community partner, providing meaningful points of education and connection to the communities we serve.
What We Do
Our mission and our vision are fulfilled by conserving and maintaining 134 acres of green space in an urban setting, developing and implementing environmental education programming for diverse audiences, and engaging volunteers to be caretakers of this valuable resource for the benefit of all.
