Who We Are
Mission: To lead with our communities and create a flourishing, equitable life for everyone.
United Way of South Central Michigan Volunteer Center supports the Capital Area (Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham counties) programs and services that address complex health and human service problems. Our work lifts our local communities by reducing racial and economic disparities; addressing the needs of ALICE* households in financial stability, education, health, and basic needs; and creating opportunities for every person to reach their full potential.
What We Do
UWSCMI creates impact by gathering every resource, partner and idea to create equitable, lasting change for the most people facing the toughest social issues.
United Way of South Central Michigan gathers the history and power of three legacy United Ways to impact our communities locally and regionally.
You can count on us to help people today and equip them to succeed in the future.
